this should have been an easy one to find info on,but i cannot find anything.

L/cpl harold robinson

manchester regt,batt unknown

he has addressed the photo to,

miss eva robinson

17 peel rd

wolverton

bucks

he has two wound stripes and two overseas stripes

anyone know owt about him,or which batt he was in,cant find eva on the census nor a harold robinson in wolverton,thanks bernard

Medal Index Cards give 10 possibilities. But assuming he didnt lose his rank, then I think you will be looking at 201074 Acting Corporal Harold Robinson.

You'll have to download his card to see if battalion is mentioned, but his number is consistent with it being the 5th

john,thanks,i think you may be spot on,he doesnt have the TA type shoulder badge but they were phased out during the war i believe,bernard
