Tank Corps

I picked up a 14/15 Star to 80489 Driver G Bowen RFA.

MIC states RFA & Tank Corps and gives theatre as Egypt.

Tank Corps Medal Roll states 214 Battery RFA and gives Embarkation date as 5-7-15 (3).

There is no service record.

My questions are:

1. Were there any Tank Corps units in Egypt?

2. If so, when?

3. Did 214 Battery RFA serve in Egypt and move to the Western Front at a later date?

Any help would be most appreciated.
