Remembered Today:

"H" Special Company, Royal Engineers

Recommended Posts

My grandfather joined the army in Feb 1916, he was a pharmacist and joined the Royal Engineers No.2 Special Company.

His name was Edgar John Martin ( no. 209649). He was born in Bristol in 1899.

Any further information about his involvement as a gasman would be greatly appreciated.

He kept a war diary, but this is held by my cousin.
