I found out some basic information then looked on your forum for information about location or conditions etc. I was more than surprised to see his name pop up on a couple of posts so thought i would try and start a string as most times it seems to be queries about rank etc . I would lik,e any info anyone could help with i have only the following :- NAME :- LAWRENCE, SIDNEY NATIONALTY:- UNITED KINGDOM RANK :- ROUGH RIDER UNIT:- 45th REMOUNTS DATE OF DEATH:- 27/08/1917 SERVICE No:- R4/068287 GRAVE REF:- 1152 CEMETERY:- SALONIKA (LEMBET ROAD) MILITARY CEMETERY ADDITIONAL INFO :- He was born c1878 at Haddenham in buckinghamshire. this is all the info i have on him except family details ie wife /children . any help would be greatly appreciated regards tone Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
