Bob Coulson Posted 2 June , 2005 Share Posted 2 June , 2005 Local memorial man Patrick Cregan died on this date. He was with the Anson Bn of the RND who thanks to pals in another thread I understand were on Gallipoli at this time. Patrick Cregan is on the Chatham Memorial so lost at sea presumably on his way to join Anson Bn. Anyone have any details of ships lost on this date that would fit the bill? As always very grateful for any assistance. Bob.
kin47 Posted 2 June , 2005 Share Posted 2 June , 2005 Hello Bob Cregan was wounded at Gallipoli and died of wounds on that date. He was probably buried at sea from the hospital ship, but I will verify and let you know. All best don

michaeldr Posted 3 June , 2005 Share Posted 3 June , 2005 Bob, In that case - while we can’t be certain, it looks as if your chap was probably involved in the night advance on the 18th; see my post in your other thread on this Regards Michael D.R.
