nicburch Posted 1 June , 2005 Share Posted 1 June , 2005 Hello all, I have posted on this subject before;but i am no nearer finding him.William John Eggleston is on the roll of honour from my village as in the 3rd Battalion, Worcs. Regiment. On the CWGC the only corresponding entry is 3rd Battalion,Scots Guards?. Medal Card offers the Devonshires and later the Labour Corps, the other 'Williams' here offer no clues...am i missing something? He would have been about 31 in 1914. Thanks for looking.
