Guest EPPSY Posted 31 May , 2005 Share Posted 31 May , 2005 Can anyone tell me the Criteria of award of the Imperial Service Badge or Tablet?? I know that it was for Territorial Force members but what did they have to do to get it???? Was the 29th Div a Territorial Unit ???? Do Territorial Army Nurses qualify also???? Chris_Baker Posted 31 May , 2005 Share Posted 31 May , 2005 The badge signified that the man had accepted overseas service. 29th Division was not a TF formation although even from the beginning of its existence it had a few TF units in it. For example, the Divisional Train (the horsed transport) comprised TF Companies of the Army Service Corps. The complete order of battle is at http://www.1914-1918.net/29div.htm.
