Remembered Today:

Recent find at Passchendaele

Has anyone picked up on/got any further information on the remains that have just been recovered at Passchendaele? The body had a silver cigarette case, a watch and 'leather equipment' that suggest he was an officer.

Frank Bostyn is quoted: "He was in a shell hole, wrapped in his gas cape and...............we saw that the whole body was perfectly preserved".

Evidently he was in the fetal postion, giving the impression that he had been thrown/blown into the shell hole, not buried.

I think that more investigations are taking place from today, Monday.
