Remembered Today:

For those with an interest in the 46th Canadian IB

I have, on a library loan, a copy of "Some Recollection of the Battles of World War 1 As Recorded By Sergeant R.G. Kentner, 46th Battalion, South Saskatchewan, Canadian Expeditionary Force".

This is likely published by the a relative of the author, and by the look of it, probably not widely available. It covers from just prior to Vimy to the armistice, and, nice features, it has both places and names indexes. So if anyone wants me to check out a name, or event, send me a PM.

Humble as the presentation may look, this copy looks like it has been well read.

Offer valid for a limited time only, as I tend to return lended books ASAP...

Does it cover any of the fighting at Courcelette in 1916? I would be interested in any scans of that.

Pascal,

Does it carry any information on the following men or actions on the relevant dates:

12/5/17 Pte Andrew Inglis

3/9/18 Pte David Elliott

They were both killed in action on the dates above.

Thank you.
