I am trying to find MIC for my Grandad Robert Allan born 1885 Aberdeen.

Believed to served with the R.H.A. from 1900 - 1907 or so, he then was either held on record and rejoined for WW1 or renlisted.

There are 19 Allans with Robert as a First or Second Name listed on the NA MiC Online site,who served in the Artillery,though he may have been in the RHA prior to 1907,when recalled/re~enlisting he may well have served with another branch{Or possibly even another Regiment?}

Ideally an old Photo,Document or similar in Family hands will be your best bet initially
