john w. Posted 22 May , 2005 Share Posted 22 May , 2005 Just read part of Tim Collins' serialisation which included the tale of him visiting the War cemetery at Amara. A moving tale of Musun Ali who had been looking after the cemetery for three generations. They knew the soldiers there, they had the register and had refused to give it to Saddam's men... Collins was taken away by the cemetery describing it at an oaisis... Here we have people who repsect and understand what others have done for them, have we lost the plot over here?
