The regimental history mentions the night of 12th/13th (Friday 13th!) July 1917 when 3 or 4,000 shells containing the "new" Mustard gas were fired into Ypres. By the evening of the 13th, 11 officers and 255 OR's had been sent to hospital, of which 1 officer and 7 ORs subsequently died due to the gas poisoning.

Hope that's of some help.

Dave.
