paul guthrie Posted 1 July , 2003 Share Posted 1 July , 2003 Hello all. I plan to go with a UK group to Salonika next July. Olympics are in Athens less than a month later. The group flies London-Thessaloniki but that can't be done from the USA. The ticket from here to Athens is real high, over $1500 for the cheap seats and I have enough miles to get a free ticket Lexington, Kentucky-Athens which means train or plane the rest of the way. I like trains hate planes but have travelled in the Balkans by train, Turkey, Bulgaria Romania and it was not good. Can any of you advise me or know who can? The easy way is fly to London, stay at Union Jack Club which I love, and go with group but I would rather go the other way. Thanks! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
