michaeldr Posted 26 November , 2005 Share Posted 26 November , 2005 JHB You can start with the book which I referred to previously ‘British Regiments at Gallipoli’ by Ray Westlake Published by Leo Cooper in 1996 ISBN 0 85052 511 X Has just over a page and a half on the 8th (Service) Battalion The Duke of Wellington’s (West Riding Regiment) in which Ray, quoting from their War Dairy, gives an outline of their service at Gallipoli.
