steve fuller Posted 17 May , 2005 Share Posted 17 May , 2005 Hi pals Does anyone have, or can they point me in the direction of a map of Roisel please? I believe it is close to Peronne, probably South South East of it. It is regarding the 6th Lancs Fusiliers actions during the opening days of Op Michael. Many thanks Steve
Dragon Posted 17 May , 2005 Share Posted 17 May , 2005 Hi Steve It’s east of Péronne, about 10 km. Unfortunately my nearest 1916 map just stops short of it, but if the area Péronne and west is of any use, I can scan that part. My maps are road and landscape maps, not trench maps. Modern map eg IGN Serie Verte 4 Laon Arras. Gwyn
steve fuller Posted 17 May , 2005 Author Share Posted 17 May , 2005 Hi Gwyn I was looking for Roisel itself, to show someones relatve where their Gt Uncle fell, so although im grateful for the offer, Im afraid it wouldnt "do the job", as it were. Thank you for the offer anyway Gwyn Steve
