joseph Posted 14 May , 2005 Share Posted 14 May , 2005 Bob, Size matters! Dependant on what qualification they had. Skipper Certificate of competancy. Fishing boats Master Certificate of competancy. Foreign trade Home trade colonial and on the register of Master Mariners Master Mariners could well be given command of a trawler but not the other way round?.
