John_Hartley Posted 13 May , 2005 Share Posted 13 May , 2005 Welcome to the Forum. I've had a look at the CD "Soldiers Died in the Great War" and it only lists 6 men as having died in Jamaica. One was an Engineer, the remainder were with the Royal Garrison Artillery. It may well be that there was Garrison Battalion(s) of infantry - but, if so, it's unusual that no-one died. Can I also suggest you have a look at the mother site (click the link at the top left of this page) and have a look at the sections about researching a soldier.
