identifing photographs

This may be a long shot but I have these two photographs

The first was taken in Almora India on the 23 of May 1914, Thomas White is in the centre back.

The second is completely unknown.

I wondered if there was anyway of identifying them or pointing me in the right direction.

The lads in the large photo appear to be "Boys Brigade" members,as they wore the "Pork Pie" hat,and quasi~military uniform,the smaller photo lads seem to be wearing Scottish Glengarrys possibly with Argyll & Sutherland {or other Scottish}Regiment Cap Badges. If Thomas White served in WW1 He should have a Medal Index Card online @ the National Archive[see The Long Trail]NA Online Search Here::0>
