Chris_Baker Posted 11 May , 2005 Share Posted 11 May , 2005 1805 Pte William Arthur Walton, Derbyshire Yeomanry, was commissioned in 1917. In between, he was renumbered GS/19779. This is not from the new numbering batch issed to the Derbys in early 1917 - so what does it signify? William was commissioned into the 2nd County of London Yeomanry, but did not return overseas once he was an officer. Any ideas where he went and what happened to him?
