Found this in the undergrowth at Hornchurch today Regards Steve

Interesting. Can you read the inscription? I'd love to know which squadron he was in and his service number, and the D.O.D.

Sorry I should have copied out for you. Aubrey De Tessier 2nd Lieut. Royal Flying Corps. Killed in a flying accident during the European War 12th October 1917.

I also found several others there which I took pics of, many of them RAF because of the Suttons Airfield site in the vicinity. Regards Steve.
