Mike McCarthy Posted 9 May , 2005 Share Posted 9 May , 2005 I am looking for information on 10 KRRC in Jan 1917, specifically on Pvt Henry Clare Died 09/01/17. Service No C/319. Buried at Sailly-Saillisel on the Somme. 1. Does anybody have any background to that Battalion's actions in Jan 17. 2. Have seen in previous posts re KRRC that the service prefic C/ denoted Church Lads although most Church Lads data seems to follow the 16th Btn. I guess that as C/319 he was an early volunteer.
