steve140968 Posted 7 May , 2005 Share Posted 7 May , 2005 My grandfather enlisted with the 6th battalion Middlesex regiment on the 11/8/1915 but was not posted to France until the 1/1/1917 when he joined the 16th Middlesex . I know that the 6th Middlesex never left these shores but was wondering what he would have been doing during these 16 months , and where he would have been doing it . Any help would be appreciated .
