Simon Jones Posted 6 May , 2005 Share Posted 6 May , 2005 Robbo Here is a map showing where it was, from the Graves & Sassoon volume of the Battleground Europe On the Trail of the Poets of the Great War series by Helen McPhail & Philip Guest. The area is all now built over but the church survives. The site of the Brothertons explosive factory, called 'Ammunition Factory' on the map, now has some derelict industrial buildings. Ste Posted 6 May , 2005 Share Posted 6 May , 2005 Robbo, Graves mentions Litherland a few times in Goodbye to all That; you might want to check it out. Cheers, Ste
