Raster Scanning Posted 5 May , 2005 Share Posted 5 May , 2005 Squirrel. Nutkins appears to have been attached from the RFC to the Royal Scots Fusiliers. 21 squadron did not go to Egypt, however the 1/4th RSF did, departing from there in April 1918. This is confirmed by Officers Died that lists Nutkins but does not specify his battalion. He is listed as killed rather than KIA or Died etc. This usually means as a result of an accident of some sort. Sorry for the pun. Cheers.
squirrel Posted 5 May , 2005 Author Share Posted 5 May , 2005 Thanks for this-don't mind the pun at all and it seems likely that he may have been a relative but of course I'll have to do some more research on him.
