Would that be Gresham School in north Norfolk?

Sandra

Hi Bernard

Just being nosey really. My great grandad Alfred Charles Beart was born in 1888 and attended Gresham School from 1903 to 1905. He emmigrated to Canada in about 1911 returning to Norfolk in about 1916 to assist running the family farm. I'm not aware that he served during WW1 in any campaigns but I'm sure some of his fellow school friends must have done. He was a private in the school cadet corp while at Gresham!!

Regards

Sandra
