alex_a Posted 3 May , 2005 Share Posted 3 May , 2005 Hello Guys I am just getting through Arthur Gould Lee's two books, No Parachute and Open Cockpit. Both are excellent and I would reccomend them to anyone who has an interest in the war in the air. Does anyone know what happend Mr Lee, after the war. I know that he became Air Chief Marshall, but what about after that, where was he from etc.. Any info would be great. Thanks Alex.
Adrian Roberts Posted 3 May , 2005 Share Posted 3 May , 2005 Alex Go to www.rafweb.org, click on 'main menu', then go to 'Air Officer Biographies' [you'll need to scroll down a long way], look for ASG Lee. [His final rank was Air Vice Marshal - died 21/5/75] Sorry to answer this the lazy way, but any answer I gave would be a precis of that site, and probably therefore plagiarism! Dolphin Posted 4 May , 2005 Share Posted 4 May , 2005 Alex You might also like to try for a copy of AVM Lee's third book Flypast which includes episodes from his post Great War career as well as a bit more on things 1914-1919.
