This memorial is little known but quite interesting. It's on the Butte de Chalmont north of Chateau Thiery. Go north from there on N 1 NE on D 22 at Ouichy le Chateau toward Beugneux, then S on D229.

It has 40 acres or so and is up quite a few stairs, features various dead men standing. I would love to know ,more about it, such as are any of them based on real men such as the French monument near Somme Py where one of the men on the roof of the ossuary is General Gourard who's buried there.
