rebecca dilks Posted 1 May , 2005 Share Posted 1 May , 2005 Hi All, I've recently discovered that my Great Grandfather was in the 4th Battalion North Staffordshire regiment during the war, and was attached to the 35th Division from 1917 to april 1919. I believe the 35th Division was sent to quell the riots in the camps at Calais (demobilisation of soldiers being sent home) in January 1919. Does anyone know of any books or websites that I could look at for further information?? Thanks Becky.
