Dikke Bertha Posted 28 April , 2005 Share Posted 28 April , 2005 Hello I see Storm of Steel twice on eBay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...8302574676&rd=1 and http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...ssPageName=WDVW Obviously still a demand for this book. Tom Morgan Posted 28 April , 2005 Share Posted 28 April , 2005 It would be very interesting to see publication history for The Storm of Steel. I agree with DB - it's still a popular book and there always seems to be an English version in print somewhere. The first version that DB calls our attention to (the one with the head and shoulders picture of a stormtrooper taken from a German war-loan poster) is the beautiful little Zimmermann and Zimmermann edition of 1985. This is no longer in print though there are a few new copies still around. The second version (the one with the stormtroopers appearing from out of a smoke-cloud) is the Penguin Modern Classics edition of 2004, still readily available new with a cover price of £7.99, so don't get carried away with your bidding, Pals.
