I have mailed the seller and have been told to **** off!

I do not think we are going to change his mind that easily <_<

Can somebody tell me where i am going wrong . I have just checked the listing numbers given item 3230370092 is three WW1 medals to PO 11417 PTE T Young RMLI.

The second listing number brings up Sainburys miillenium medals. Undettered I checked his other items for sale the pictures of three single medals appear going down the page but the captions for each are Three WW1 Medals, Sainsburys Millenium medals and Ladies shoes.

So either I have totally cracked up. (highly likely under the circumstances!!) or the listings have been altered. I must admit I couldn't make head nor tail of it!!

Just let me know if I have gone totally mad

regards

Ali

Actually it was good work chaps as I have just looked at 3230370092, which is now offering a trio to PO11417 Pte. T. Young R.M.L.I.

Item 3230369607 are some Sainsbury's millenium medals or something.

Woops Alibee - it looks like we crossed.

I think the "**** off" that Ian referred to can be interpreted as "thanks for pointing out the error of my ways. It was in fact a trio and not a pair and I will relist them as a single lot".

Yr sanity is safe.

Well done PALS!!!! special thanks to Hussar.

Here is the e-mail I just received:

Hi David

You are the third person to point this out. I am extremely grateful to you

all for putting me straight. Luckily nobody had yet bid on these and I have

now managed to put all 3 into 1 lot. It is now item 3230370092.

I will know better in future!

Pals,

THis is brilliant work...I have never seen such quick and decisive action as we have seen.

My spirits are lifted and my hope for mankind has been rekindled by these two episodes. B)

Why don't those of us who are on Ebay create an unofficial "watch" list so that we can directly e-mail those who volunteer to contact sellers who are breaking up sets?

Just an idea, and you can put me down on the list right now: pj.mooney@verizon.net

Contact me anytime - I'll jump on it immediately as I work at my computer from home.

Cheers

Patrick

Patrick,

Wonderful idea, a medal "watch" section!!! I t hink it would prove to be a very important and unique way of helping to ensure that goups to these fine men are saved, if we can. How can it hurt to try?

What do others think???

Thanks to all who contacted the seller, he also emailed me back to thank me for pointing out the error of his ways!

Here is the message

Hi

Many thanks for pointing that out. Luckily nobody had yet bid on them and so

I managed to revise them. I have now listed all 3 medals as 1 item

3230370092.

Mick

Another victory for the Pals!!
