Cheshire22 Posted 6 May Share Posted 6 May Hi, somebody on X, put on a tweet about 2nd Rowland E E Chaplin in London Cemetery, Neville vitasse, France. I had a Quick Look and come across 2nd/Lt V E Rallison of the 17th Manchester Regiment who is buried in Plot 3, Row B, Grave 7 now in Grave 6 is an UBS. But the COB and GRRF both state 47458 Pte A Wood, 17th Manchesters with the date of 2nd April 1917. The CWGC has on the Arras Memorial, this man ARNOLD WOOD Private Service Number: 33092 17th Bn. Manchester Regiment United Kingdom Died 02 April 1917 22 years old ARRAS MEMORIAL Bay 7. France is this the same man and has anybody already submitted a case for this man
