enlistment calculation date please

could some kind soul please provide me with an enlistment date calculated from  the soldiers effect record

for Frederick Wells S2895 8th Bn Seaforth Highlanders

Looks as though it will give a date near the start of the war? But I've not done exact calc.

To give you an idea, if you've not done it already, near number S2898 Clark attested 2/9/14, joined at Fort George 3/9/14 Depot and was posted to 8th Bn 14/9/14.

S2881 similar.

had to go to hospital with a couple of broken toes

Spiral fracture of 5th Metatarsal. Can't see anything on what's shown of the toes.

Often caused by a rotation injury to the forefoot à la David Beckham and Wayne Rooney many moons ago.
You're going to tell me now you did it by dropping a box of spanners on it.

Its the camera I believe it also often automatically cuts the heads of people when I photograph them :rolleyes:
