Remembered Today:

My Grandfather Thomas Wiltshire

My grandfather, a Wiltshireman by name and birth ended the war in the Argylls in Salonika. He told my mother that he was transferred after the Argylls suffered some losses and the attached photo proves it. I am sure the uniform is Wiltshire Yeomanry. Could anyone confirm it?

Thank you

I will have to try a close up at a later time. I did base some of my opinions on his boots(flap at the front), trousers(which seem like jodphurs), puttees up to the knees and the bandolier. The only time I have seen bandoliers worn it was by someone in the Yeomanry.
