PaulC78 Posted 30 April , 2024 Posted 30 April , 2024 Hi folks, have found this man in the pension cards: (Source: Fold3) Robert Grice 260018 KLR, apparently died of wounds on 7 Sep 1918. He is listed on SDGW as having died in France & Flanders and was issued with an overseas death certificate, but I don't see him listed on CWGC. No service record or soldier's effects so far as I can see, medal card and roll don't mention his death. The following notices of death in the Lancashire Evening Post give his name as GRICE-HOLLBONE (or HOLLEBONE): (Source: FindMyPast) Can anyone else find this man on CWGC or add to the above?
