If any of you are interested in seeing the Wagoners Special Reserve display at Sledmere House YO25 3XG on the 19th of May.

GS Wagons in action and a live farrier display making horseshoes with authentic tools here possible. Royal Logistic Corps displays etc.

I've attended on the last two occasions, it's an interesting day out if you have an interest in the ASC and the equestrian side of the Great War.

Sledmere House is also the home of the Sykes family; Mark Sykes, who raised the Waggoners Reserve was also the signee of the Sykes Picot agreement.

I’ll be the ASC Farrier Sargent demonstrating the art of shoe making etc. I’ve a strong interest in the ASC too. Make your self known if your coming along.
