Vizefeldwebel Otto Selz was awarded the EK2 on 26 May 1917 whilst serving with Bavarian Landwehr-Infanterie-Regiment 15. The regiment was at this time under command 30. Reserve-Division in positional warfare in Lorraine. According to the regimental history, the regiment was in the sector around Jallaucourt (Gellshofen), about 40 kilometres South of Metz in May 1917.

Regards

Glenn

Hi,

as he was in a Bavarian unit you will find his military cv in the appropriate Kriegsstammrolle for WW1 on ancestry.
