Arthur is not buried at the Arras memorial, he has no known grave and his name is inscribed on the panels at the memorial.
27/03/18 is part of the Kaisers Battle.
War diary is free to download after free registration here

Soldiers Died In the Great War will tell you where he was born and enlisted . I don’t have full paid subscription site access to check.

He has a surviving service record held by Find My Past (a subscription site). One of the pages shows that his birth parish was Milton in the county of Dumbarton. His attestation papers shows a home address of Waterside Cottage, Ferry L????, Alexandria (West Dumbartonshire) (both images courtesy of Find My Past)

Images (courtesy of Find My Past) show his military history.

Link to his record if you have or can get access to Find My Past

His record is also held on Ancestry (a subscription site), the images aren't as clear as Find My Past. Link to his record if you or can get access to Ancestry

Here's a pension card for his widow - giving her address - same as on his service record when he enlisted. By this it appears he was married but with no children.

The Pension Card shows one child - Mary Craig, d.o.b. 23.9.16. And the child allowance expires on her 16th Birthday of 23.9.32.

I've done my fair share of the same.   I blame the weather!
