Hi

I am trying to find out where my Great Uncle Albert Lawson was originally buried before being relocated to where he now rests in Epehy Wood Farm Cemetery… I have just  located this map reference on your site

62 c f8.d.5.5 (as per pic)

is there some way of finding this information out ? …. some years ago I sought help on this site  to find out more about his time spent  fighting in the war but it just opened a big can of worms that I struggled to make heads or tails of  ***…. I also have this photo which I assume to be the original grave marker?

his details are

service no 785928

Gunner Albert Lawson

RFA 382nd Bty. 44th Bde

thanks for any help, will be much appreciated 9B69C535-9C3D-4937-B089-2176149DCC39.jpeg.043dc3df7a671bf98f988b2f40b0f9e4.jpeg47960A42-71EC-48F1-9CB7-C4B792A0919E.jpeg.2a447f5d3c3de68487516d759b36812e.jpeg

@WhiteStarLine and @Howard will be able to help with the map reference. I’m pressed for time this morning so can’t help you further. Link to your previous thread below.

I have just come back from WA, please send us your weather!!!

62c.f.8.d.5.5 can be found in TrenchMapper being careful with the format of the map reference. Put that in and click Convert.

In the left panel, choose from over 180 maps.
