Chris Noble Posted 19 April Share Posted 19 April Good evening, Is there a history of this unit or the division? I am particularly interested in their period occupying the sector at Mericourt in 1917. Kind regards, Chris

Chris Noble Posted 20 April Author Share Posted 20 April Hi Charlie and Jan. Thanks for the information, it's a shame nothing was published after 1916. Best wishes to you both, Chris
GreyC Posted 20 April Share Posted 20 April Ten years after he published the reg. history the author published a small booklet on the history of the regiment. Maybe with new information in comparison to 1928? Meinhold, Guenther, Ehemaliges Infanterie-Regiment von der Goltz (7. Pommersches) Nr. 54, Die Tradition des deutschen Heeres, Heft 66; Kyffhäuser-Verlag, Berlin, 1938; 1 Karte, 21 Seiten GreyC

Content wise, they are as good as worthless... Jan
