Here's a second pic - some are the same guys as the other pic. Again not sure when or where this was taken. Could be fairly close behind the lines - due to the ambulance (summer time - and the trees in the background are undamaged.) They all look fairly cheery, with shiny boots and no kilt aprons, so maybe got out of the line and getting some leave. Maybe someone recognises some of the other faces?

Hi David,

Thanks for posting the photos.

The interesting thing to noticed is the chap sitting on the bonnet of the truck with the strange headgear. There was an interesting discussion some time ago about this headgear but as far as I remember no solid conclusion was reached. What do others think?
