Just in case I drop dead [I'm not planning to do so any time soon, but just in case] ...

To let you all know that the above casualty [born 5 September 1897 in Wavre, Belgium, to an unmarried French mother, Philomène Marie COUCKE b.17 January 1876 in Rosendael, (Dunkerque) - later married as RATTENBURY, and British father, Henry MOSSOM b.4th qtr 1865]; enlisted 15 February 1915 at Aldershot; discharged at Southport, 10 February 1917, because of epilepsy aggravated by service & SWB listed and who died from epilepsy in Brentwood Mental Hospital / Asylum, 22 September 1919, has been submitted to CWGC and as at 5 April 2024 has been accepted for consideration under Non-Commemoration Case Number 12318 - has been referred to the relevant service authority for adjudication.  The wait now begins

Fortunately he handily had an un-digitised rare PIN 26 file at TNA and other pension record at WFA/Fold3 - I now have his Birth and Death Certificates

Death: MOSSOM, THOMAS WILLIAM 22 GRO Reference: 1919 S Quarter in BILLERICAY Volume 04A Page 450

Oh, by the way ... I'm currently I'm seeking his burial place [mother shown as resident Waltham Abbey, Essex] - so members' assistance is keenly sought please. TIA.
