Faughs museum Posted 14 April Share Posted 14 April Normally I discount New Years Honours & Birthday Honours Lists as citations 'unavailable' - gallantry over a protracted period. But without the sources to hand, Condon's Great War Officers of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers page 292 has 'without citation' for Lt & QM Geo. Searle MC (LG 4/1/17) but a recent book on the MC has '(C)' which from memory denotes citation, this may be a misprint, or of course I could well be wrong. I have looked at the London Gazette on line without result, but then I couldn't even find Searle's entry never mind a citation. Could any kind member confirm?
