Stevend Posted 10 April Share Posted 10 April Whilst researching i read that this battalion was nevercin France but on ceremonial duties but i see some soldiers from this battalion were killed in france during passchendale. Allan1892 Posted 10 April Share Posted 10 April From 'The Long, Long, Trail' --- 5th (Reserve) Battalion Formed at Victoria Barracks in Windsor during August 1914 as 4th (Reserve) Battalion. 14 July 1915 : redesignated as 5th (Reserve) Battalion.
