Ivor Anderson Posted 6 April Author Share Posted 6 April (edited) Thanks Corisande. So, he got married after completing his 6 years service in 1911 and joined up again in June 1912 after the birth of his first child (Elizabeth b. 1 May 1912)? corisande Posted 6 April Share Posted 6 April I cannot be certain of his life from 1901 to 1914, but can add 1887 birth 1901 census in Ireland So if he served for 6 years it had to be between 1901 (he was only 14 then ) and 1911 census which has him as a civilian in Scotland. So he could have enlisted initially in 1904.05 for 6 years 1911 census in Stevenston, Scotland Resident at 66 New St., Stevenston as a Boarder with the Fairley Family. Occupation in 1911 as a `Dynamite Worker`at ICI in Ardeer, Scotland
