OLD ROBIN HOOD Posted 28 March Share Posted 28 March Greetings Good Folk While out and about this morning I acquired a War & Victory pair to 14-717 Pte J.TURTON York and Lancs Regt . So, off to our local Library and on to Ancestry ( Library edition ). Result ,NOTHING ,no M.I.C ,no Roll. no information whatever . TURTON 717 gets straight there [the MIC anyway] as incidentally does 14/717 My usual and general advice is to leave out a pre-fix, at least on first attempt = Surname and number only.
