Seeking help with bayonet id

It looks to be a P1888 bayonet, but a picture of the overall piece and any other markings would help with an identification.

Yes they do. It’s a Pattern 1888, type 2 bayonet made for the Lee Metford rifle.   A gentle clean with wire wool and some light oil will remove the rust and should make the markings easier to read.
