WWI Italian radio bag

Picked this up not too long ago and thought I would share this. A WWI Italian radio bag that surely has that old smell to it.

It appears to have a number of loops throughout, which makes me believe that they are meant for the straps of a tornister to go through to keep it on the back of the soldier.

I am curious. How do you identify this as a "radio bag" ?
