Many thanks Ian Value is quite hard to gauge, the information contained in the orders/messages, the officer sending the messages, and the regiment he belonged to may all affect the price someone would be willing to pay. My advice would be to scan or photograph the pages as clearly as possible and list for 7 days or longer on an online auction site, where it will be seen by the widest possible audience. Gunner Bailey Posted 5 March Share Posted 5 March The value is not what you can sell it for but what it contains.
maxwell Posted 5 March Author Share Posted 5 March (edited) The book belonged to Lt C E Bowden who went onto become Ltcol He served in The DCLI. The order on army form c2121 is to stand to. The book has writing about Palistine with drawings of aeroplanes and maps. The diary bits are separate and I think about France 1916 Edited 5 March by maxwell
