mjc1 Posted 25 February Share Posted 25 February Hello everyone, I wonder if perhaps one of you keen eyed personnel can decipher a few words on this attestation form for me please? The wording from 6th line down following ASC in the margin looks like 'Compulsorily ....' I am unable to read the rest of the wording I'm afraid. Thank you in advance. Michael. mjc1 Posted 27 February Author Share Posted 27 February (edited) Does anyone have knowledge of the rates of pay listed therein please. Apparently : During the First World War the dockyard remained operational as an Army Ordnance Depot and ASC Supply Reserve Depot (wikipedia) Later Alfred is paid 4th rate pay ????? He is invalided out with hysteria and given an 18 week pension. Any input would be helpful. Thanks. Mike Edited 27 February by mjc1
Chris_Baker Posted 27 February Share Posted 27 February I'm sorry but I do not recognise your quote as being from the LLT.
