Hello everyone, I wonder if perhaps one of you keen eyed personnel can decipher a few words on this attestation form for me please?  The wording from 6th line down following ASC in the margin looks like 'Compulsorily ....'

I am unable to read the rest of the wording I'm afraid. Thank you in advance. Michael.

His B103 is a bit easier to read:

Compulsorily transferred Authority WO (War Office) Telegram 4313 AG 1 d (dated) 4.10.17. Pay under ACI 2084/16 Para 2

Does anyone have knowledge of the rates of pay listed therein please. Apparently : During the First World War the dockyard remained operational as an Army Ordnance Depot and ASC Supply Reserve Depot (wikipedia)

Later Alfred is paid 4th rate pay ?????

He is invalided out with hysteria and given an 18 week pension.

Any input would be helpful. Thanks. Mike
