E coy RAMC 1918

Hi im looking for info on e company of the ramc. 

This perticular post card mentions e coy ( e company 

 

I have many post cards but not much details before he got ill with malaria. Unsure of his movements, only ones i know of is he went from aquata scravia to lido d'albaro to convaless

I assume you have the information on Pte Yates

Records will seldom go down to Company level. A Company was an organisational structure within the British Army and was below Battalion level (or in the case of the RAMC a medical unit) usually the Company Commander was a Captain.

He appears to have been stationed at the British Convalescent Camp, Italian Expeditionary Force you may find this link useful

I suspect that if he suffered from malaria it is likely he was posted from Salonica where the disease was endemic, or he may have contracted the disease in Italy which was also a 'hotspot'.
